Cook Islands day 12

Brilliant!  Everything about the place is wonderful.  Last night I decided on a bit of a swim before bed, laying in the warm water of the lagoon looking up at the most amazing sea of stars truly paradise.   Snorkeling yesterday was wonderful, fish of every possible color (even some colors I'm sure don't exist), creepy mean looking eels, and all manners of sea life.  Lisa is loving the snorkeling.  Today (much like the rest) is up in the air, we just move around the island until something strikes our fancy, its really a tough life.

Cook Islands day 8 (and first post, too much fun to be had):

I was a bit hesitant at first about a tropical vacation, I've always wanted to see the south pacific but the heat and humidity are not my cup of tea.  Well I was wrong!  Island life is the life for me.  Slow, casual, and always easy.  The heat is here as is the humidity but after a few days of sweating it starts to feel really nice.  67Sq Km of beauty (pretty tiny piece of land).  The locals are wonderful, the jungle is amazing and the lagoons are heavenly (especially at about 2pm to cool down).  The local food is wonderful, having an unusual mixture of European influence tossed with local fruits and produce.  Last night I have coconut encrusted Camembert in a mango guava sauce!
